PLATO will provide funds for departments wishing to hire graduate and undergraduate TAs who assist faculty in the management of class sections using adaptive courseware. TAs can be involved in the following activities:

• Gathering and tracking data from the adaptive courseware system that informs the instructor about student progress and possible content trouble areas
• Facilitating active learning during class time
• Grading content submitted through courseware and providing feedback to students through the courseware system
• Assisting with faculty research related to adaptive learning
• Helping faculty manage adaptive courseware through authoring content, updating content, troubleshooting courseware, providing tech support for students using courseware
